In today’s world, where resource management within the scope of the circular economy has become a necessity, we continue to strengthen our production capacity each day by embracing the important mission of recycling for sustainable growth.

In 2015, our brand entered the green energy sector, starting circular economy investments with energy production from landfill gas. Later on, investing in the recycling sector as well, Mias Recycling established its recycling facility with a strong technological infrastructure and innovative vision in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, covering a total area of 5.000 m², of which 10.000 m² is indoor space. While exporting our high-quality granule production to many countries across the world—primarily in Europe—we also supply the domestic market. Together with our employees, customers, and all stakeholders, we are moving forward with determination toward our circular economy goals in a sustainable manner.

As a part of our recycling process, the waste that comes to our facility first gets segregated accordingly. Following the segregation process, they get crushed into small pieces in our high-tech waste shredding machines. Then, the crushed waste gets transported to the Agromel (??) and Granule area with the help of a fan after being washed in our uniquely designed system. After the Agromel and Granule processes, our products which pass through 120 mesh automatic laser filters, become LDPE raw materials. The granules are filled into big bags after getting homogenized in 30-ton tanks. The laboratory tests are periodically performed on the samples taken during this process. Each granule is subjected to a film test in the test badanozu (??). The granules that pass the QC (Quality Control) get consigned to the customer.

Our recycled products can be used directly as a substitute of the original raw material.

Sustainability

The threats posed by climate change have compelled the entire world to adapt to a circular economy model. Under the Green Deal framework, concepts such as efficient use of resources, resource management, and zero waste have become indispensable policies for both governments and companies. Producing recycled raw materials as an alternative to virgin resources, and reintegrating waste into the production chain, represents the sustainable reflection of our green economy policy. Within this scope, and with our sustainable growth target, we recycle plastic waste. Through advanced processes such as technological separation, washing, and raw material preparation, we produce high-quality recycled raw materials. These are used in the plastics industry either alongside virgin materials or as a direct alternative.

Our Environmental Policy

When end-of-life plastics are recycled instead of being discarded into the environment, they are transformed into new products such as clothing, industrial fibers, work caps, grocery cart handles, school and office components, golf and tennis equipment, garden furniture corner blocks, waste collection bins, garbage bags, shopping bags, shrink film, greenhouse covers, stretch film, flowerpots, benches, auto spare parts, water meter boxes, buckets, carpet materials, and drainage pipes.
